The problem with sewing is that it becomes an addictive obsession of collecting fabrics, tools, etc.! Before getting into this, I had never even ventured inside a Joann’s Fabrics or Hobby Lobby, and the mere process of taking a bolt of fabric to the cutting counter was intimidating. Walmart and Michael’s are where I started to gather supplies, and from there it went to online sources and beyond. It’s also addictive to watch tutorials, which of course in turn feed into the “purchasing more stuff” addiction. Fortunately, I can rationalize that all of the time and money invested are going to good causes!!
